"About Us"The
Reader is a family owned and operated weekly publication
with free, private party classifieds ads. Our
first issue was August 3, 2000, with the intent to
publish a free publication with advertising rates
affordable enough to allow event the smallest of
businesses to use.
We've grown to the point that we have opened up the
paper to accommodate feature columns of local interest
and other general information. We feel that residents
and businesses in Rutherford County, as well as some
surrounding communities have embraced our family and
community newspaper as their own.We
fell very fortunate to have a good number of residents
with writing interest contributing their time and
talents making the Rutherford County Reader a popular
hometown publication.We
will continue to look for ways to make the Reader as
community oriented as possible and never forgetting the
needs of the small businesses in this area, which are
the backbone of this wonderful place we call home.
